Is there a maximum annual contribution for employees?

No. However, the Fonds may limit the subscription options available in order to meet its commitments and maintain a balanced business model. This potential limit will not affect savers who contribute via payroll deduction.

Tax credits granted to savers who acquire shares in a labour-sponsored fund are limited to $1,500 per tax year, which is equivalent to purchasing $5,000 worth of Fonds shares.

Individuals are responsible for ensuring that their Fonds contributions are eligible for tax credits and RRSP deductions.
