    • Geoffrey Ancinon

      Project Manager

      Geoffrey Ancinon joined the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ in 2005 as Project Manager in the Office of the Vice-President, Investments. In real estate for the last 10 years, he has built solid expertise in property valuation.

      Prior to his arrival at the Fonds immobilier, Mr. Ancinon worked for Nexity, a major real estate developer in France. He holds a DESS in property law from Université de droit de Paris XII and a DESS in real estate from Université de sciences économiques et gestion de Paris XII.

    • Pierre Belle-Isle

      Project Manager

      Pierre Belle-Isle joined the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ in 2016 as Project Manager reporting to the Investment Vice-President. With a career spanning over 11 years in real estate, Mr. Belle-Isle has extensive experience in various asset classes (office, multi-residential, senior residences, shopping centres and hotels).

      After beginning his career in property appraisal at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, Mr. Belle-Isle spent the next eight years in various positions at SITQ/Ivanhoé Cambridge (real estate subsidiary of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec), honing his skills in real estate financial analysis, market valuation and asset management.

      Mr. Belle-Isle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in SME management and entrepreneurship, as well as a certificate in accounting and a microprogram certificate in urban and property management from Université Laval à Québec. He is also a member of the Ordre des évaluateurs agréés du Québec.

    • Réjean Bellemare

      Regional Coordination Advisor

      Réjean Bellemare joined the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ in June 2018 as Regional Coordination Advisor. In this role, he coordinates the dealings of the Fonds immobilier and its governing bodies with regional and local economic development organizations, as well as its initiatives in the social economy. 
       
      Prior to his arrival at the Fonds immobilier, Mr. Bellemare worked at the Fédération des travailleurs et travailleuses du Québec (FTQ) as an advisor in the research department. In 1999, he became regional advisor for Laurentides-Lanaudière. Before that, he worked for the Syndicat des Métallos (FTQ), where from 1988 to 1999, he served as a union advisor in the research department and then as a coordinator for technical services. During this time, he participated in bargaining sessions, helped improve labour relations and spearheaded major projects, gaining in-depth knowledge of union structures and their activities.
       
      Réjean Bellemare earned a Master of Applied Finance from Université du Québec à Montréal and a graduate diploma (DESS) in cooperative management and development from Université de Sherbrooke. Mr. Bellemare holds a corporate governance certificate from Université Laval’s Collège des administrateurs de sociétés and is a member of the Ordre des administrateurs agrées du Québec.

    • Pierre Benoit

      Investment Director

      Pierre Benoit joined the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ in March 2017 as Investment Director. In addition to overseeing a team of real estate professionals, Mr. Benoit is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects in which the Fonds immobilier has invested. These projects are carried out across Québec in the residential, office, commercial and industrial sectors, and include social infrastructures.

      Mr. Benoit has over 25 years of experience in real estate development, project management and large infrastructure projects. From 2013 to 2017, he served as Real Estate Director at Canada Lands Company. Prior to that, he held various positions at Infrastructure Québec (formerly the Agence des partenariats public-privé du Québec), Ivanhoé-Cambridge and consulting firms. During his career, Mr. Benoit was involved in the development of numerous public and private projects, including the former Eaton’s store in downtown Montréal (now Complexe Les Ailes), the Méga-Centre Rive-Sud in Lévis, the concert hall of the Montréal Symphony Orchestra, Place Bell in Laval and the AMT’s new rail maintenance facilities.

      Mr. Benoit is also a lecturer, teaching a course titled “Managing Engineering Projects: the Feasibility Stage” at Université de Sherbrooke’s Faculty of Engineering. He has also taught courses on project evaluation methods and on the revitalization of the downtown core at UQAM’s Urban Studies Department. A certified Project Management Professional, Mr. Benoit earned a master’s degree in urban planning from McGill University in 1989 and is a member of the Ordre des urbanistes du Québec.

    • Jean-François Bérubé

      Financial analyst

      Jean-François Bérubé joined Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ in 2019 as a financial analyst, reporting to the Investment Vice President. 

      In this role, he is responsible for analyzing investment opportunities in the residential, commercial, office and industrial segments. His responsibilities also include supporting the teams with projects in development and participating in due diligence reviews of projects approved by the Board of Directors. 

      Mr. Bérubé holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal.

    • Serge Cormier

      Director - Construction

      Serge Cormier joined the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ in 2008 as Director, Project Management and Construction. Providing his expertise in projects in which the Fonds immobilier is a partner, he analyzes, among other things, the performance of the resources involved in project governance and management and ensures that investment conditions are respected. Mr. Cormier also oversees the development and construction of mixed-use infrastructures, using an integrated design approach.

      Mr. Cormier has over 30 years of project management experience in real estate development and construction, where he represents the client’s interests. He has been involved in numerous projects in Québec and abroad, at the technical, strategic, political and guidance levels. He has also taken part in unique projects in the arts, live entertainment, recreation, media and leisure tourism industries involving the creation, design and construction of incomparable equipment, concert halls and mobile sites.

      Mr. Cormier is Gold Seal Certified (GSC) by the Canadian Construction Association. He is a certified Project Management Professional (Project Management Institute) and a certified LEED Green Associate (Green Building Certification Institute). He is a member of the Canada Green Building Council – Québec Section, Construction Specifications Canada (CSC), and the Montréal Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI).

    • Daniel Dionne

      Construction Advisor

      Daniel Dionne first became involved with the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ in 2012 as an external consultant tasked with managing construction projects. In March 2015 he joined the Fonds Immobilier as a construction advisor, providing his expertise in construction projects in which the Fonds immobilier is a partner. His responsibilities include analyzing and validating technical reports, budgets, monthly payment certificates and the construction schedules of the Fonds immobilier’s partners.

      Mr. Dionne has worked in the construction industry since 1973. As a result of his extensive experience as a contractor and project manager, he has overseen major projects involving industrial infrastructures, office and commercial buildings and transportation, including construction of the Montréal metro. On the international scene, he was involved in the construction of Place de la Victoire in Algiers (Algeria).

      Daniel Dionne holds a technical diploma in building services and architecture (TSCA). In 1998, he founded his own project management firm, which he ran until 2015.

    • Arnaud Duchêne

      Project Manager

      Arnaud Duchêne joined the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ in 2015. Prior to his appointment as Project Manager in 2017, he served as Financial Analyst, reporting to the Vice-President, Investments. His responsibilities include analyzing and making recommendations to the Fonds immobilier whether to participate in a given residential, commercial, office, industrial or community housing project and, if applicable, following up with the developer partners.

      Mr. Duchêne holds a Master’s degree in finance from UQAM’s École des sciences de la gestion.  He also holds a Bachelor in International Business from La Rochelle Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
