Normand Bélanger joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ network in 1987. Prior to his appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ, he served in several roles within the network: Senior Vice-President, Aerospace, Construction, Services and Transportation; Investment Vice-President, Construction, Real Estate and Export Development; Investment Director, Turnaround; Portfolio Manager; Financial Advisor; Financial Analyst; and Development Agent.

Mr. Bélanger studied financial management at HEC Montréal, industrial relations at Université de Montréal and administration at Université du Québec à Montréal. A member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines et en relations industrielles agréés du Québec, he also received a corporate governance certificate from the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés of Université Laval.

Mr. Bélanger has represented the Fonds on the boards of many partner companies (public and private) active in the sectors under his responsibility.
