Loïc Breton

Background – Bio
Mr. Loïc Breton is President of the Syndicat des employées et employés professionnels-les et de bureau (SEPB-Québec) since 2016. His union involvement began in 1991. Since then, he has occupied various positions within the SEPB, including as president of SEPB-574, recruiter, union trainer and representative of his organization before various union bodies.

Mr. Breton holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from McGill University.

Socio-economic involvement
Mr. Breton has served as a director and an employer representative on the Retirement Committee of SEPB-Québec since 2017. In this role, he has been involved in the review and development of new investment policies for the plan. In addition, he sits on the National Executive of SEPB-COPE and has worked, among other things, on the preparation of the investment policy of the Fonds de défense du syndicat Canadien.

Background – Bio

Ms. Mélise Brisebois has been a business advisor with the Société d'aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) Bellechasse-Etchemins since 2024. In this capacity, she assists companies in their investment and growth strategies. From 2022 to 2024, she was inventory and cost coordinator at Les équipements d'érablière CDL. From 2018 to 2022, she worked at IA Financial Group, first as Executive Assistant, Group Savings and Retirement, and then as an advisor in management systems and process efficiency. Finally, from 2016 to 2018, she managed projects as a project manager and creative assistant for Matiers.

Ms. Brisebois studied at Laval University. She obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration in 2014 and an MOOC training in sustainable management. She is a Fellow of the Life-Management Institute and a YWCA Trustee.

Socio-economic involvement

Ms. Brisebois is an entrepreneur. She operates a business focused on food autonomy in Québec and the construction of a business community committed to this same objective.

She also co-created the Libérez les livres movement, promoting free access to reading and book sharing.

She acts as a regional jury for the Ose Entreprendre competition.

Daniel Boyer

Background – Bio
Ms. Anouk Collet has acted as principal advisor to the National President of United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW Canada) since May 2016. She is also Vice-President of the FTQ. She also sits as vice-president on the Canadian Council of the Canadian Labour Congress and on various FTQ committees, including Education and Grievance Arbitration. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2016, she was the Regional Director (Québec) and national representative for UFCW Canada and, from 2001 to 2008, she was Coordinator of the UFCW legal department of Local 500. She began her career as assistant to the Canadian Director of the Union of Needletrades, Industrial and Textile Employees (UNITE), a position that she held from 1997 to 2001.

Ms. Collet has a Law degree from Université de Montréal, and is a member of the Barreau du Québec. She also has a Master's degree in Industrial Relations.

Socio-economic involvement
Actively engaged in the community, Ms. Collet represents the FTQ at the Deliberative Assembly of the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail, a provincial consultation body comprised of representatives of various public and private sector organizations dedicated to improving the efficiency of the labour market and overcoming its many challenges. She also served on the board of directors of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada from 2012 to 2018, and is a member of its Governance Committee.

Éric Gingras

Background – Bio
Mr. Éric Gingras has been President of the Centrale des syndicats du Québec (CSQ) since 2021. From 2013 to 2021, he was President of the Syndicat de Champlain. Prior to that, he was a teacher at the Centre de services scolaires Marie-Victorin from 1996 to 2004.

Mr. Gingras holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Université de Montréal.

Socio-economic involvement
Mr. Gingras is a member of the Committee of the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail and of the Comité consultatif du travail et de la main-d'œuvre. He has held various positions in the union environment, including fifteen years with the Syndicat de Champlain.

Sylvie Nelson

Background – Bio
Ms. Sylvie Nelson was elected President of the Syndicat québécois des employées et des employés de service, Local 298 (FTQ) (SQEES-298) in 2017, and was re-elected in 2022. Member of the FTQ office where she serves as Vice-President, she is also Vice-President of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).

Ms. Nelson completed her studies in special education and since then has always been involved in the union sector. In 1997, she was hired as a union consultant for the Member Services Department of the SQEES-298. In 2010, she took over as leader of training services. Named Secretary-General of the SQEES-298 in 2011, she assumed political responsibility for training services, the political action committee, the intercultural committee and the mobilization committee, in addition to managing administrative personnel. In 2016, Ms. Nelson was elected Vice-President of the FTQ, representing the women of the FTQ.

Socio-economic involvement
Ms. Nelson has been involved with the union movement for over 35 years. She has assisted in coordinating complex issues, including pay relativity and pay equity, in both the public and private sectors.

Josée O'Leary

Background – Bio

Ms. Josée O'Leary is a corporate director. She has worked for over 25 years in strategic financial management. As a consultant, she assists companies in modernizing their processes and strengthening their financial governance.

She began her career in 1997 with the firm of Dallaire Forest Kirouac, Chartered Professional Accountants. Initially acting as an auditor and advisor to companies, she then held the position of General Manager from 2010 to 2023. She has been associated with it from 2014 to 2023. She has also worked as general manager and finance director for a number of companies, and as an executive advisor on budget management in the civil service.

Ms. O'Leary completed in 1997 a bachelor's degree in accounting sciences from the University of Sherbrooke. She then completed a certificate in governance from the Collège des administrateurs de l'Université Laval in Québec City in 2024, and a second in environmental, social and governance from HEC in Montréal in 2025. She is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés, holding her auditor's permit, and a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés. She holds her Certified Corporate Director designation.

Socio-economic involvement

Ms. O'Leary is a volunteer member of an investment committee within Québec City’s Fonds d’emprunt (loan fund).

Throughout her career, she has also been involved with organizations in her community, such as Le Relais Ski Centre and the Fondation des sports adaptés.

She has also been active in various accounting service organizations. In particular, she was a member of the Board of Directors and its committees of DFK International. She has also served on several Groupe Servicas committees.

Jean-Louis Vangeluwe

Background – Bio

Mr. Jean-Louis Vangeluwe was President and CEO of the Solmax Group until December 2024. He held various positions during his 27 years of service with the company. He first worked in market development in 1997, before being promoted to Director of International Sales in 2003, and then as Vice-President of Sales since 2007. Finally, he was appointed President and CEO in 2015, a position he held until his departure.

Mr. Vangeluwe is a graduate of France's Skema Business School. He then pursued his academic career in business administration at the University of Seville in Spain and obtained an MBA from HEC Montréal. In 2023, he completed a CEO Excellence Program at Harvard University in the United States.

Socio-economic involvement

Mr. Vangeluwe has given presentations at Les Affaires magazine events for small and medium-sized Quebec businesses. The last presentation focused on the implementation of ESG management within companies.

He also volunteers at HEC Montréal's MBA courses and Executive Hub.
