Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ

25 years of strategic investments

In the 25 years since its inception, the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ has been promoting economic growth and employment in Québec by strategically investing in profitable and socially responsible real estate projects in partnership with other industry leaders.

During this time, it has successfully adapted to market trends, adjusting its investment strategy and rebalancing asset classes to optimize its investments and generate a positive return for shareholders of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ.

A bright future

The Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ invests in projects with strong growth potential in the residential, office, commercial, industrial and institutional sectors. Beginning in 2017-2018, the organization will invest an additional $400 million in social infrastructure projects – public schools, sports and cultural centres, libraries – in order to offer Quebecers quality services. These projects will be carried out together with the government, cities, municipalities and school boards.

Currently, the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ has nearly 48 projects in development that will create some 24,000 jobs across Québec.

With a team of more than 40 professionals who contribute to its success by offering value-added services to partners, including integrated project planning, real estate law, financial and market analysis, project accounting and marketing, the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ is an indispensable partner in Québec.
