Contest rules - "Save and Score"
IN CONNECTION WITH FLEXIFONDS' MARKETING ACTIVITIES

Duration of the contest
The "Save and Score" contest (hereinafter referred to as the "Contest") is held as part of FlexiFonds' marketing activities. It is held by the Fonds de solidarité des travailleurs du Québec (F.T.Q.) (hereinafter referred to as the "Fonds" or the "Fonds de solidarité FTQ") and is held exclusively in the Province of Québec from February 1 to March 1, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.
Conditions for participation in the Contest
Eligibility
- This contest is intended for anyone 18 years of age or older who has a tax residence in the province of Quebec. To be eligible for the Contest, individuals must participate between February 1 and March 1, 2023, in one of the ways described below.
- Employees and directors of the Fonds and its network (Fonds régional de solidarité FTQ, Fonds locaux de solidarité FTQ, Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ and FlexiFonds de solidarité FTQ inc.), local representatives, employees of the Fédération des travailleurs et travailleuses du Québec, and the persons with whom such employees, directors and local representatives reside are not eligible for this contest.
How to participate

- During the Contest, you can obtain one (1) participation in one of the following ways following:

By making a minimum one-time investment of $500 in a FlexiFonds mutual fund on the FlexiFonds online platform1 during the contest's eligibility period, i.e. between February 1 and March 1, 2023, at 11:59 p.m.
To make any contribution, you will be referred to FlexiFonds de solidarité FTQ inc. , a mutual fund dealer. The FlexiFonds online platform will determine which financial product offered by the dealer that suits your investor profile. There may be no financial product offered by the dealer that is suitable for your investor profile. In this case, it is also possible to participate in the Contest as described below.

By sending a letter of at least fifty (50) words explaining why you would like to win an entry to the Bell Centre event and including the following personal information: name and given name, age, complete address (including postal code), telephone number (including area code) to reach you.

Upon receipt of your letter with all the required characteristics, we will enter the personal information you provided (name, given name, age, telephone number [including area code], mailing address [including postal code]) in our database used for the Contest.
Submissions thus obtained are subject to the same conditions of participation as those obtained through a contribution.
Prize description
- One hundred (100) winners will each receive a pass to an exclusive event and a unique hockey-themed experience at the Bell Centre. Entertainment, surprises, backstage tours and access to the Bell Centre ice rink will await the winners on site. The pass is valid for four (4) persons including the winner, regardless of the age of the participants. The 4-hour event will take place on a weekend day in the Spring of 2023. The exact details of the schedule, location and activity will be provided to the contest winners following the draw.
- The winner will need to be present at the event and present official photo identification to access the event for himself and his guests.
- The total value of the prizes is $50,000.
- The prize specified above cannot be changed, transferred, assigned, substituted or exchanged for money.
Method of awarding prize
- Using the automatic software function, one hundred (100) individuals will be selected at random among the participants in the contest. The draw will take place on March 8, 2023.
- The results will be recorded by a representative of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ.
- Before you are declared a winner, you must:
- Be reached by the Fonds or an advertising agency designated by the Fonds within three (3) days of the draw;
- Answer a mathematical skill-testing question correctly, without assistance and within a limited time. This question will be asked by email or telephone.
- Complete and return to the Fonds or an agency designated by the Fonds, within three (3) days of receipt, the Declaration and Release of Liability form sent to you by the Fonds or an advertising agency designated by the Fonds.
- By signing the Declaration and Release of Liability form, you will agree to:
- Your price as described in these Contest Rules.
- That you may not transfer or sell your prize to another person or substitute another prize. Winners must arrive at the Bell Centre on the scheduled date and time with their guests in order to participate in the activity. Guests of a winner will not be allowed to participate in the event if the winner is unable to attend the Bell Centre on the date and time scheduled. Winners will be required to present valid government-issued identification to attend the event. Minors invited by a winner must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to gain access to the rink.
- If all the conditions set out in these Contest Rules are not met, the selected participant will be disqualified and a new draw will be made, in accordance with these Contest Rules, until a new participant is selected and declared a winner.
- The names of the winners will be published on the Fonds' website at www.fondsftq.com/contest.
- The winner of a prize releases the Fonds, which is the organizer of the Contest, its advertising and promotional agencies, as well as its employees, agents and representatives, from any and all liability for any damage that he or she may suffer as a result of accepting or using his or her prize, including any tax consequences.
- The winner of a prize authorizes the Fonds and its representatives to use, if applicable, his / her name, photographs, images, voice, contact information, place of residence or statement relating to his / her prize for publicity purposes, without compensation.
- The Fonds, its advertising and promotional agencies, and its employees, agents and representatives shall not be liable for any failure of the Internet or the website, or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, or computer on-line systems, servers, address providers, computer equipment or software, or for the non-transmission or non-receipt of any electronic mail, or for any damage or loss that may be caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the downloading of any web page or software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including damage to an entrant's computer or to any other person's computer used to enter the Contest, to receive materials relating to the Contest or to accept a prize.
- The Fonds reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest, in whole or in part, in the event of an event or human intervention that corrupts or affects the administration, security, impartiality or conduct of the Contest as contemplated by these Contest Rules, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, if required. In no event will the Fonds, its affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of products or services related to this Contest, and its employees, agents and representatives be required to award more prizes or award one or more prizes other than in accordance with these Contest Rules.
- Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
- This Regulation is posted on the Fonds de solidarité FTQ's website at www.fondsftq.com/contest.
- The personal information you provide to the Fonds in connection with this Contest is provided by you on a voluntary basis. The personal information collected on participants in connection with this Contest is used for the administration of this Contest and is subject to the Privacy Notice (PRP) of the Fonds de solidarité F.T.Q. The winner of a prize consents to the Fonds transmitting to its partners and suppliers the data collected in the context of this Contest, in accordance with the purposes identified in these Contest Rules and for the awarding of the prize.
