Montreal, April 24, 2025

The Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ – Montréal (FRS) is supporting the succession plan of SOGICA, a leading Québec company specializing in personalized business communications, which will see five members of its management team become shareholders.

Founded in 2018 by Sylvain Dupras following the acquisition of a CGI division, SOGICA has over 35 years of experience in communications and boasts cutting-edge expertise in the production of high-quality transactional and relational marketing documents. The Fonds de solidarité FTQ has been using SOGICA's services for over 20 years for its communication with savers. The long-standing relationship between the two organizations will solidify further with this support.

The new shareholders are:

  • Tristan Mac Donald, Senior Director Programming and Digital Transformation;
  • Pierre-Paul Lavigne, Vice-President Business Development;
  • Charles-Henri Nedjar, Vice-President Marketing and Customer Experience;
  • François Sevigny, Senior Director IT and Business Services; and
  • Geneviève Dupras, Communications, Brand Image and Commitments Manager.

The mixed transfer, involving a handover to a family member and employees, is a pivotal moment in SOGICA's development, coming at a time when the company is growing and management is brimming with ambition. Its team is driven by a culture of innovation and as such is constantly enhancing its range of customized solutions. SOGICA's agility is one of its greatest strengths, enabling it to remain relevant over the years.

"The Fonds network and SOGICA have enjoyed a strong partnership for over 20 years. We're very pleased to be able to build on this relationship by supporting the company's handover to young, dynamic and ambitious business professionals. But most importantly, a handover to local people means this fine company remains in Montréal," said Peter Rayes, Regional Vice-President of the Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ – Montréal.

"Thanks to the support of the Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ, a pillar of Québec's economic development, we have reached a major milestone in our history. Their expertise and support at every stage of the process were essential to our success. This collaboration is based on shared values and a strong commitment to local entrepreneurship," said Geneviève Dupras, SOGICA's Communications, Brand Image and Commitments Manager.
