Geneviève Guertin appointed Vice-President, Investments, Life Sciences

Smitten by the life sciences industry in 1999, Geneviève has never looked back. She joined the Fonds in 2012, working first as Senior Advisor, Investments, and then as Director, Investments, within the life sciences team. Nine years later she was appointed to head this specialized team whose role is to invest in life sciences companies and sector investment funds.

"For the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, investing for a better society means backing the development of new medications that improve patient quality of life. That’s why we’ve invested $1.6 billion since 1989 to support the Québec life sciences sector. We’re pleased to count on Geneviève’s expertise and experience to continue backing this key sector of our economy," said Alain Denis, Senior Vice-President, Investments, at the Fonds de solidarité FTQ.
