      Véronique Gagnon is a Senior Investment Advisor in the Recreational tourism and Culture sectors. She joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 2001 as Valuation Advisor. She later was Senior Advisor, Due Diligence where she participated in risk management, planning, preparing and conducting due diligence reviews of investment projects. Véronique Gagnon earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting as well as a graduate diploma in accounting from HEC Montréal. She is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV). Prior to joining the Fonds, Ms. Gagnon worked for well-known financial firms and institutions.
    • Daniel Hinse

      Vice-president of entertainment and consumer goods, and investments outside Quebec

      Daniel Hinse has been Vice President, Investments - Entertainment and Consumer Goods since 2013. In this capacity, he has been responsible for investments in the following sectors: Tourism, Culture, Retail, Apparel and Consumer Goods. He joined the Fonds in 2005, where he also held the position of Manager, Due Diligence Reviews. During the first ten years of his career, Daniel worked at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a major in Accounting and Finance from McGill University as well as the Chartered Accountant (CPA-CA), Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) and Corporate Director (ICD.D) designations.

    • Nathalie Bilodeau

      Senior Marketing Advisor

      Fonds de solidarité FTQ

      Nathalie Bilodeau joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 1996 as Senior Marketing Advisor in the Market Analysis and Development office. Her duties include formulating recommendations for investment projects, advising the investment team and prospecting, tracking and furthering the growth of companies in the portfolio. With over 20 years experience in marketing, Ms. Bilodeau has built sound expertise in industrial technologies, clean/environmental technologies, agri-food, film and culture, and printing and publishing. During her career, she has worked for well-known marketing firms and top-ranked financial institutions. She has also served on numerous boards and been a member of several associations and committees. She was also a shop steward. Ms. Bilodeau received a Bachelor of Arts (minor in mathematics/statistics, economics and industrial relations) from Université Laval, as well as an MBA, with a concentration in marketing HEC Montréal.
    • Danielle Day

      Valuation Coordinator

      Danielle Day joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 1999 as Valuation Coordinator. Ms. Day has extensive experience in evaluating financial instruments: stocks, debentures, preferred shares and hybrid instruments. She has conducted valuations in many different situations, for example, mergers and acquisitions, buyouts and restructurings. During her career, she also spent time working for a leading financial advisory firm. With over 20 years of experience in business valuation, Danielle Day earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Université du Québec à Montréal and holds the designations of Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator.
    • Michel Dorion

      Senior Legal Advisor

      Michel Dorion joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 1992 as Legal Advisor. In his current role, he deals with the many legal facets of the Fonds' investment operations. From defining the legal structure of transactions to their negotiation and closing, Me Dorion is involved at each step of the investment process. Working with the Fonds' Shareholder Services and the Fondation de la formation économique, Me Dorion has honed his skills in development capital financing. He has delivered presentations and training to external directors and to employees and members of the Fonds network. He also helped set up a labour-sponsored fund in Algeria. As a result of his work, he has developed deep expertise in international matters. Prior to joining the Fonds, Me Dorion was Director of the Education and Information Services at the Conseil conjoint québécois de l'Union internationale des ouvriers et ouvrières du vêtement pour dames (UIOVD-FTQ). He also sat on the ad hoc working committee of the QFL on the Fonds' creation (QFL Education Service). Holder of a bachelor's and a master's degree in social and labour law from UQÀM, Michel Dorion went on to earn an MBA with a concentration in Business Financing from the same university. He has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1994.
    • Linda Lachance

      Portfolio Manager, Québec Public Markets

      Linda Lachance joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 2000 as Portfolio Manager, Quebec Public Markets. In this capacity, she is responsible for stock transactions and derivative strategies for the Marketable Securities portfolio as well as for providing advice on large-cap debt transactions. Ms. Lachance is particularly adept at analyzing special situations and Québec small caps. Prior to her recruitment by the organization, she worked for prominent brokerage firms. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Linda Lachance earned a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and International Management from HEC Montréal.
    • Guillaume Lemire

      Legal Advisor

      Fonds de solidarité FTQ

      Guillaume Lemire joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ's Legal Affairs team in 2009. As Legal Counsel, he is responsible for the legal aspects of investments made by the Fonds. During his studies, Mr. Lemire founded his company and developed a management software program for medical clinics that is still used today. Actively engaged in his field, he was president of the Université de Montréal student co-op and has been a board member of a caisse populaire for over 7 years. Guillaume Lemire holds a law degree from Université de Montréal and has been a member of the Barreau since 2010.
