Daniel Hinse has been Senior Manager, Investments - Entertainment and Consumer Goods since 2013 and, in this capacity, has been responsible for investments in the following sectors: Tourism, Culture, Retail, Apparel and Consumer Goods. He joined the Fonds de solidarité in 2005, where he also held the position of Manager, Due Diligence Reviews.
During the first ten years of his career, Daniel worked at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte. After four year in audit services, he specialized in financial advisory services and provided his clients transactional services at all stages of the acquisition process, including target identification, valuation, due diligence reviews, negotiation and financing. From 2002 to 2005, he was Senior Manager in charge of the Consumer Goods and Food sectors and acted as business valuation specialist for venture capital funds.
Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a major in Accounting and Finance from McGill University as well as the Chartered Accountant (CPA-CA), Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) and Corporate Director (ICD.D) designations.
