      Julie joined the team in 2008, coinciding with the launch of the AP60 development fund - exclusive to our region. She managed the fund for five years, during which she acquired knowledge of the aluminium sector and its companies. In 2017 she was promoted as Regional director. Before joining the Fonds régionaux, Julie worked as a financial analyst at Stratégie Jeunesse for the Société d'aide au développement des collectivités (SADC) of Haut-Saguenay. In this capacity, she developed expertise in analyzing financing files and providing technical assistance to businesses. Engaged in her region, Julie sat on the board of the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie Lac-Saint-Jean Est for five years, including three as vice-chair. She also sat on the board of Regroupement CPA régional. Julie Boulianne is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec and a graduate of Université du Québec à Chicoutimi in Accounting.

      Daniel Bourcier joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 1997 as Development Agent in the Labour Relations, Partner Companies office. Prior to his arrival at the organization, he held various important positions in the labour world, including Enrolment Development Coordinator at CUPE and Training Coordinator for the labour network. With over 20 years of experience in his field, Mr. Bourcier has built solid expertise in labour relations and social responsibility. He has also mastered the intricacies of the International Code of Conduct.

      Guy Boutin is a Senior Investment Advisor in the Aerospace sector. Mr. Boutin joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 2006 as Senior Advisor, Due Diligence where he participated to the risk management of the Investment sector; he was also involved in certain special mandates (turnaround). During the first eight years of his career, Mr. Boutin has worked at Deloitte in due diligence and business valuation mainly. Mr. Boutin holds a Bachelor of Commerce, major accounting, from Concordia University as well as a graduate diploma in accounting. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CA) and a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV).

      Johanne Bréard joined the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ in 2010 as Accountant, reporting to the Vice-President, Finance.

      Prior to her arrival at the Fonds immobilier, Ms. Bréard worked as a financial analyst at Ipex, a large manufacturer of thermoplastic piping systems. Before that, she worked at the accounting firm of Amyot Gélinas CA, where she built her auditing expertise.

      Johanne Bréard holds a bachelor’s degree in management from École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Montréal and is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés (CPA/CGA).

      François Brulotte joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 2003 as Valuation Advisor. In a finance career spanning 15 years, he has worked for leading financial institutions, financing companies and financial advisory firms. Mr. Brulotte has sound expertise in evaluating financial instruments such as stocks, debentures, preferred shares and hybrid instruments, having conducted valuations in such varied contexts as mergers & acquisitions, buyouts and restructurings. François Brulotte holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Finance concentration and an MBA from École des sciences de la gestion de l'UQÀM. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

      Marie-Isabelle Côté has over 25 years' experience in finance, primarily in venture capital, development capital and infrastructure. During her career, she has worked at such firms as EDF Renewables, Énergie Capital, Hydro-Québec, CapiTech and SGF.Ms. Côté has served on various boards of directors and has been a member of audit, pension and finance committees of private corporations and non-profit organizations. Prior to her arrival at the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 2018, Ms. Côté spread her time evenly between consulting firms and corporations, always in the field of investment, with a focus on business valuation. Marie-Isabelle Côté holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal. She holds the professional designation of Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation and CPA-CA.
    • Serge Côtes

      Serge Côtes has been Senior Investment Advisor within the Fonds de solidarité FTQ's Natural Resources team since March 2018 and is responsible for the mining sector. From 2000 to 2004, he worked at the Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ, where he participated in the development and implementation of an investment strategy aimed specifically at public companies in the mining sector. From 2004 to 2008, he was Investment Advisor at National Bank Financial and, afterwards, he had the opportunity to further his knowledge of mining taxation at Deloitte, from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Ressources Pershimco inc., a mining exploration company with advanced exploration projects in Canada, Mexico and Panama. In 2013, he returned to the Fonds régionaux. Very active in the last 15 years with mining companies, he had the opportunity to get involved in significant financing transactions and therefore deepen his understanding of the mining sector and capital markets. Mr. Côtes holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) from Université Laval and is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (Québec Chartered Professional Accountants Order).
