Fonds régionaux (regional funds)

The Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ network was created in 1996 as a result of the FTQ’s desire to provide Québec with a regional development tool. An integral part of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ network, the Fonds régionaux are the ideal partners for projects of up to $5 million.

Thanks to our investments - almost $635 million to date – a thousand of small and mid-sized businesses have been able to grow and innovate and thus maintain or create sustainable quality jobs in all the regions of Québec.

With 16 offices across the province, we count on the knowledge, experience and dedication of over 50 employees, all of whom live in the region where they work, to further Québec’s development and drive our economy.

Each Fonds régional has a board of directors composed of members from the business and socio-economic communities and whose investment decisions are based on a sound understanding of regional realities.

Our mission

Stimulate the regional economy by making strategic investments with a view to creating, maintaining and preserving jobs.

We have a training program for employees of our partner companies to help them gain a better understanding of the economic environment in which their company operates.

What we offer

The Fonds régionaux offer personalized business solutions to meet SMEs needs and regional economic reality. In the form of unsecured or equity loans reaching up to $5 million, the loans require no personal or corporate guarantee, entail no legal or management fees, and are designed to complement traditional financing.
