By investing for a better society

The power to change our future is all about action. Through concrete actions guided by a long-term vision, we influence how our world changes. Marie-Pier and Kathleen realized that by starting to save early, they're gaining the means to prepare for a retirement that lives up to their dreams.

Marie-Pier Minville

Marie-Pier Minville

Organizational Development Technician, Nergica, Gaspé

"It was natural for me to become a shareholder and start saving early for retirement. I'm surrounded by people who talk to me about the Fonds, who remind me of the important role it plays in the region's economic development. I could even give you the names of partner companies to show how much this is a topic of interest around me."

Marcel Lapointe

Retired

"When it's time to retire, it's reassuring to realize that you did the right things at the right time to be able to bring your long-held dreams to life."

Métal 7

Éric Martin, Métal 7

President

"Metal 7 has been a Fonds partner company for nearly ten years, since we participated in the financing to buy back the main shareholder's interest. It's 2022 and we're still there for them, this time to support the management buyout process. This long-standing relationship let us create strong ties and gain extensive knowledge of the company's operations and the issues it faces. When we proposed advisory services by Groupe Asthuce, we knew that it could result in significant value creation, especially because management was very open to the process."

Delphine Leprince

Senior Information Agent, Fonds FTQ

"Our work consists of answering calls from savers or people who want to become savers," said Delphine. "Each call is different. During a single day, we may answer questions on tax credits, on how to access an online account, and sometimes even on the Fonds' mission. It takes a lot of agility on top of a deep knowledge of what the Fonds does. It's important for us to end each call positive that we fully answered all questions."
