What’s an “LR”?

Local representatives (LR) are unionized workers who promote the Fonds in their workplace on a volunteer basis.

The LR network includes more than 1,800 unionized workers from unions affiliated with the Fédération des travailleurs et travailleuses du Québec, CSQ, FIQ and other partner organizations.

Unions designate RLs to represent the Fonds in their workplace. Their primary role is to inform their colleagues about the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, encourage them to enroll and promote the importance of saving for retirement.
