Fonds de solidarité FTQ invests in Jus LOOP
Boisbriand-based company continues to grow while fighting food waste
Boisbriand, July 16, 2026
The Fonds de solidarité FTQ has provided Jus LOOP with a loan of up to $5 million to support the growth of the Québec-based food company, whose circular economy business model transforms fruit and vegetables rejected because of cosmetic imperfections or limited shelf life into cold-pressed juices.
"This investment will allow us to accelerate our expansion in the United States and Western Canada while strengthening our working capital and increasing awareness of our products through targeted marketing initiatives. Over the next five years, we aim to become a leader in the health beverage market while keeping fruit and vegetable upcycling at the heart of our mission and business model," said Alexis Windal, President of Jus LOOP.
"LOOP has carved out a place in the competitive health beverage market through its circular economy model and quality products that reflect evolving consumer expectations. With this investment, the Fonds is supporting the growth of an innovative and responsible company in the agri-food sector, an important industry undergoing significant transformation," said Louis-Joseph Cliche, Vice-President, Private Equity and Impact Investing – Agri-Food, Consumer Goods and Health, at the Fonds de solidarité FTQ.
Based in Boisbriand, LOOP transforms fruit and vegetables into cold-pressed juices using a process that preserves their flavour and nutritional value. Its products are sold through major grocery chains across Québec and elsewhere in Canada, and the company is expanding in both the Canadian and U.S. markets.
DALAROY Conseil advised LOOP on structuring the transaction.
