Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ – Laurentides Support the Growth of Boulons Plus
Mirabel, August 11, 2025
The Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ - Laurentides are reaffirming their support for Boulons Plus, a major distributor and manufacturer of heavy-duty structural fasteners, by making a second investment to further the company's growth. This investment marks a new stage in a partnership that began in 2021 as part of a buyout in which Maxime Cousineau, the company's president since 2015, bought out a co-shareholder.
Founded in 1992, Boulons Plus specializes in the manufacture and distribution of bolts, screws, nuts and dowels for the industrial markets. Today, the company, which has subsidiaries in Canada and in the United States, is a key player in the manufacture of heavy-duty structural bolts and anchors.
In this investment, the Fonds régionaux are joining forces with Maxime Cousineau, the majority shareholder of Boulons Plus and its subsidiaries. Mr. Cousineau will continue to lead the company, focusing on various growth projects, including expansion in Canada and the United States.
"The Fonds régionaux are proud to once again partner with Boulons Plus. The company has great growth potential, and we are confident that with our investment, Maxime Cousineau and his team will take it to new heights," said Éric Dargis, regional vice-president of the Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ – Laurentides.
"We have ambitious goals for Boulons Plus, and the support of the Fonds régionaux will help us get there faster by enabling us to expand and boost our presence in new markets. This new investment is an important milestone in the company's development," said Maxime Cousineau, president of Boulons Plus.
