      Sébastien Berthelet joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 2007 as Legal Advisor. In his current role, he deals with the many legal facets of the Fonds' investment operations. From defining the legal structure of transactions to their negotiation and closing, Me Berthelet is involved at each step of the investment process. He also occasionally delivers legal training to Fonds employees. Prior to joining the Fonds, Me Berthelet spent several years at a prominent pan-Canadian legal firm, where he acquired solid expertise in mergers & acquisitions. Holder of a law degree from Université de Montréal, Sébastien Berthelet also studied common law at the Osgoode Hall Law School of York University. In addition, he completed accounting and finance courses at the McGill International Executive Institute and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1999.

      Jean-François Bérubé joined Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ in 2019 as a financial analyst, reporting to the Investment Vice President. 

      In this role, he is responsible for analyzing investment opportunities in the residential, commercial, office and industrial segments. His responsibilities also include supporting the teams with projects in development and participating in due diligence reviews of projects approved by the Board of Directors. 

      Mr. Bérubé holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal.

      Nathalie Bilodeau joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 1996 as Senior Marketing Advisor in the Market Analysis and Development office. Her duties include formulating recommendations for investment projects, advising the investment team and prospecting, tracking and furthering the growth of companies in the portfolio. With over 20 years experience in marketing, Ms. Bilodeau has built sound expertise in industrial technologies, clean/environmental technologies, agri-food, film and culture, and printing and publishing. During her career, she has worked for well-known marketing firms and top-ranked financial institutions. She has also served on numerous boards and been a member of several associations and committees. She was also a shop steward. Ms. Bilodeau received a Bachelor of Arts (minor in mathematics/statistics, economics and industrial relations) from Université Laval, as well as an MBA, with a concentration in marketing HEC Montréal.

      Hugo Bisaillon joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 2019 as Investment Manager, Aerospace, Infrastructure and Transport. Prior to his arrival at the Fonds, he served as Assistant Vice-President, Business Development, at Business Development Canada (BDC) for 14 years. Hugo earned a Business of Bachelor Administration (major in Finance) from HEC Montréal and a DESS in finance from UQAM. He holds the designation of CFA.

      Since arriving at the Fonds régionaux in 1997, Philip has acquired solid experience in capital growth and business financing. He played a leading role in several business transfers that had reached maturity, but is equally interested in business start-ups and their successful development. Before joining the Fonds régionaux, Philip was Auditor at the Sept-Îles branch of the accounting firm KPMG from 1994 to 1997. Philip Blouin is a graduate in business administration and accounting from Université Laval.

      Julie Bolduc joined the Fonds de solidarité FTQ in 2001 as Valuation Advisor for the Agri-Food, Textile and Metal Products sectors. Ms. Bolduc has extensive experience in the financial industry, particularly in business valuation involving mergers and acquisitions, minority interest investments, buyouts and restructurings. A Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator, Julie Bolduc earned a bachelor's degree in accounting at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. Prior to joining the Fonds, she worked for a prominent accounting firm.

      Joan has been working for more than 20 years with businesses in the region. Initially involved with self-employed workers and SMEs at SADC Chibougamau-Chapais inc., she subsequently became Economic Development Advisor for the James Bay Development Corporation. Finance-oriented, Joan made economic development her passion. In this capacity, she sat on several boards, notably the Board of Directors of Développement Chibougamau, where she served as Treasurer. Her dynamism, attentiveness and sound knowledge of the region's economic situation help her adroitly meet the needs of entrepreneurs. Joan Boudreault is completing a master's program in organizational management at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi.

      André Bougie became a member of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ team in 1995 as Portfolio Manager in the Turnaround and Special Projects office. Prior to joining the Fonds, Mr. Bougie worked for prominent institutions and companies, notably as Controller and then as Internal Audit Director for SNC-Lavalin Group. He was also the owner and Vice-President, Finance, for Groupe RCR International. Lastly, he was involved in complex projects at National Bank. Holder of a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal and the designation of Chartered Accountant, André Bougie has been working in the investment field since 1983, building expertise in turnarounds and mergers & acquisitions. He also has extensive knowledge of the manufacturing and processing industries.
