Message from the President

Luc Pinard

Innovation, regional presence, human capital, job creation and sustainable economic development are all words that describe the Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ.

Since their creation in 1996, the 16 Fonds régionaux have been actively contributing to the economic development of Québec’s regions. On March 31, 2015, they had a total of 382 partner companies, representing $276.5 million in investments, resulting in the creation or preservation of almost 16,600 jobs. This exceptional performance is the product of the network’s combined efforts, team work and infectious energy.

I consider it a real privilege to be part of an organization with such a mobilizing mission and to promote what I believe are fundamental values.

Our philosophy can be summed up in three words: flexible, quick and easy.We work hard to offer you the financing you need as quickly as possible and without unnecessary complications. We are also always looking for new ways to complement conventional financing, as you can see by the variety and flexibility of our products.

Focused on development and proximity, our structure allows us to adapt to the economic reality of the regions we serve. Our innovative network of skilled, disciplined professionals are here for you, whatever your needs. All our employees live in the region where they work. The same holds true for our regional boards of directors. This means that at the Fonds régionaux, we understand your business environment and the issues you face, and we can offer you patient capital managed by local people for the benefit of everyone in the region.

The strength, energy and synergy of the Fonds régionaux – a group with deep roots in Québec – will become apparent as you browse through our site. You will discover an organization with clear intentions: to further the growth of businesses in the regions so that they can carry on, innovate and create lasting, quality jobs. Because that’s how we drive our economy.
