Audit Committee
The Audit Committee has a primary mandate to ensure that the Fonds immobilier follows good financial governance practices. Individuals whose names are followed by an asterisk (*) are independent of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, the Fédération des travailleurs et travailleuses du Québec (FTQ), and all affiliated unions.
Claude Bergeron*
Chair of the Board, corporate advisor and director
Mr. Claude Bergeron is a lawyer, corporate director, and advisor. He worked for over 35 years at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec ("CDPQ"), including 30 years in senior management positions. He was Senior Vice President, Chief Risk Officer from 2009 to 2023, in addition to serving as Head of Depositor Relations from 2018 to 2023. Previously, he was Vice President of Legal Affairs and Secretary from 1993 to 2009. He received the National Excellence Award post-ZSA for his role in restructuring the Canadian commercial paper market during the 2008 financial crisis.
Before that, he worked at the Quebec Ministry of Revenue as a litigation lawyer, before being appointed Deputy Director and Division Chief.
Mr. Bergeron holds a law degree from the University of Montreal and has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1979. He later completed studies in administrative sciences at HEC Montreal in 1991. He holds an International MBA in Financial Services and Insurance from The Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School in Belgium and the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
Mr. Bergeron has been invited for several years to economic, academic, accounting, and financial circles as an expert and speaker on risk management. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ since May 23, 2025.
Gervais Levasseur *
Board Member
Gervais Levasseur is a seasoned manager with extensive experience in corporate strategy. He has spent most of his career at Ivanhoé Cambridge, an international real estate investment, development and management firm belonging to Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. He has been a strategic planning and management consultant since 2015.
During his tenure at Ivanhoé Cambridge, Mr. Levasseur was Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer from 1992 to 2014. His main responsibilities included financial corporate strategy and planning, treasury and finance, valuation and financial analysis, internal control, accounting policies and financial reporting, taxation and management information systems (information technology). Gervais Lavasseur began his career at KPMG, after which he went on to serve as Chief Accountant and Controller at CN Real Estate. Prior to his arrival at Ivanhoé Cambridge, he was Controller at SNC Lavalin.
Mr. Levasseur earned an accounting degree from HEC Montréal and holds the designation of CPA, CA from the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés (CPA) du Québec.
Dino Rambidis
Executive Vice-President Finance Fonds de solidarité FTQ
Dino Rambidis has more than 30 years of experience and an impressive track record in senior financial positions with public and private companies in various sectors. Passionate about finance, he worked for over a decade at PSP Investments as Vice-President, Finance and Operations. He also successively held the position of Senior Vice-President, Corporate Finance, (CFO) at Fiera Capital, Stornoway Diamond, and Leddartech, a leader in environmental sensing solutions for autonomous vehicles.
An avid reader and sportsman, Mr. Rambidis holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University and a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy from McGill University. He also holds the CPA designation.
