Janie C. Béïque has been Vice-President - Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary of the Solidarity Fund QFL since January 2000. In this capacity, she oversees all of the Fund’s legal affairs, including those pertaining to investments and the corporate secretariat.
Me Béïque holds a Bachelor of Law from Université de Montréal. Before joining the Fund, she was a partner at the law firm of McCarthy Tétrault. Me Béïque has participated in many corporate financings through IPOs, private placements or bank financing, as well as in acquisitions, mergers and restructuring of public and private companies in various industries, in Québec, Canada and abroad.
