Claude Séguin Pays Tribute to Michel Nadeau

Michel Nadeau was a member of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ valuation committee.

Montréal, October 20, 2021 – Claude Séguin, Chair of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ Board of Directors, paid tribute to Michel Nadeau following the news of his passing.

“Throughout his career, Michel Nadeau was committed to the socio-economic development of Québec. As a journalist and commentator, he contributed to the collective awakening of Quebecers to economic and financial issues. During his time at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, he helped strengthen our economy and his work on governance at the IGOPP led to improved practices in Québec organizations and businesses. On behalf of the employees and directors of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, I offer my sincere condolences to his family and friends.”

Michel Nadeau sat on the Fonds’ valuation committee, which reviews the procedure for valuing private investments and is composed of independent members with no affiliation to the Fonds, the FTQ or its affiliated unions.
