A partnership between Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ and Han-Logement
Richmond, September 14, 2021 – Han-Logement is pleased to announce the inauguration of its most recent building at 80 Craig Street in Richmond. This is the 16th building dedicated to people with a physical or intellectual disability. Centrally located in Richmond, it consists of eight accessible one-bedroom apartments at an affordable rent. Tenants moved in last fall.
The $1.5-million project was made possible by a partnership between Han-Logement and the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ, as well as a financial contribution from Desjardins Entreprises. Also instrumental to its realization was the support of the City of Richmond and the extreme generosity of 10 local donors involved in their community.

Founded in 2002, Han-Logement is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with a physical and/or intellectual disability or an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) living in unsuitable housing by offering affordable, quality units adapted to their needs. The organization has 16 buildings totalling 105 accessible apartments in Magog, Sherbrooke and Richmond.
