Supporting SME growth: The Solidarity Fund QFL highlights its human capital

Montréal, October 10, 2007 – With SMEs facing ever-greater challenges, the Solidarity Fund QFL stands as a vital participant in their growth. This is why the Fund’s new advertising campaign emphasizes the expertise on its investment teams. The campaign is set to be launched on October 11 in Québec’s major daily newspapers and regional weekly papers.

“To remain competitive in the current economic environment, SMEs must be constantly innovating,” says Mario Tremblay, Vice-President of Public Affairs and Communications. “In this new campaign, we wanted to show just how responsive the Fund’s professionals can be to the needs of entrepreneurs. The campaign also underscores one of the Fund’s distinctive qualities, well known by its partners: its human capital.”

The campaign is based on two people meeting, the moment of first contact between a Solidarity Fund QFL professional and an entrepreneur looking for financing and strategic assistance. “So when are we meeting?” is the opener directed at business people. “With this message, we want to show that the Fund is accessible, and encourage entrepreneurs from across Québec to sit down with us and discuss their plans for the future. With $7.2 billion in net assets, the Fund has the capital and all the expertise required to support corporate growth at any stage of development,” concludes Mr. Tremblay.
