- 11 Quebec regions and several industries are represented by these SMEs, which have recorded an average growth rate of 30% over the past three years.
- Today marks the beginning of an exciting time for these SMEs, which will gain access to $4.5 million in pro bono services and $200 million in funds dedicated to accelerating growth from the group’s 10 partners.
MONTREAL, JULY 10, 2018 – Adrenalys, whose 10 partners are committed to propelling Quebec companies with high growth potential to the next level, is proud to unveil today its second cohort of exceptional SMEs.
Following the call for applications launched on February 26, 30 exceptional SMEs have been selected by Adrenalys’ Advisory Council comprised of women recognized for their success in business and chaired by Suzanne Blanchet, director of several companies and former president of Cascades Tissue Group. “Using an unprecedented and innovative approach, Adrenalys will once again support some of our strongest entrepreneurs at a critical moment in their development, helping them reach new heights, such that all will feel the benefits – at the local, provincial and national levels,” said Blanchet.
An impressive second cohort
Representing 11 regions of Quebec in the manufacturing, information technology and communications, construction, retail, food and leisure sectors, these SMEs has achieved spectacular returns. Total combined revenues of the selected SMEs reached $1.9 billion ($63 million per SME) in the last fiscal year, while their overall revenue growth rate was 30% over the past three years. “The entrepreneurial spirit present in Quebec is one of its most valuable assets and this second cohort of exceptional companies demonstrates this. It is a privilege to be part of this program and contribute to the growth of these businesses and our economy!” said Véronique Proulx, President and CEO of Quebec Manufacturers and Exporters (MEQ).
