Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ Open an Office in St-Félicien

Annie Taillon Appointed Investment Director of the FRS Saguenay—Lac-St-Jean

 

 

St-Félicien, May 3, 2018 – In order to better serve the Lac-St-Jean area, the Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ (FRS) Saguenay—Lac-St-Jean has opened a business office in St-Félicien. The announcement was made yesterday by Luc Pinard, President and Chief Executive Officer of the FRS, and Julie Boulianne, Regional Vice-President of the FRS for the Saguenay—Lac-St-Jean and Côte-Nord regions, during an event at the Zoo sauvage de St-Félicien.

Mr. Pinard and Ms. Boulianne also announced the appointment of Annie Taillon as Investment Director of the St-Félicien office, located at 1209 Sacré-Cœur Blvd., Suite 510.

“The Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ are partners of choice for projects of up to $3 million. For Lac-St-Jean entrepreneurs, our new office in St-Félicien will be an excellent gateway to the entire Fonds de solidarité FTQ network, including the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ,” said Mr. Pinard.

“Annie has more than 20 years of experience in financing and guiding businesses in the area. She’s also very involved in her community. Her expertise will be an asset for our partner companies,” said Ms. Boulianne.

The FRS offer customized business loan and equity solutions of up to $3 million. Each product is developed based on the company’s characteristics and the economic reality of the region. Not requiring either a corporate or personal guarantee, FRS loans do not entail any legal or management fees and complement the financing offered by traditional financial institutions.

Created in 1996, they are an integral part of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ network and as at March 31, 2018 have invested $779 million in 1,166 projects, helping to create, maintain or protect close to 44,447 jobs.
