Frédéric Bernier Appointed Regional Director of Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ Gaspésie—Îles-de-la-Madeleine and Bas-St-Laurent

Gaspé and Rimouski, June 1, 2017 – Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ President and CEO Luc Pinard is pleased to announce the appointment of Frédéric Bernier as Regional Director of the Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ in the Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine and Bas-St-Laurent regions effective June 19, 2017.

Holder of a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and economics from UQAR, Mr. Bernier joined Investissement Québec in 2000, initially as a portfolio manager. In 2006 he became senior director and regional representative for the Bas-Saint-Laurent–Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine region. He therefore has extensive knowledge of the region’s economy and needs.
