The Fonds de solidarité FTQ invests $4.2 million to support the growth of Processia Solutions in international markets

Montreal, August 2nd, 2016 – In order to support the growth of Processia Solutions, the Fonds de solidarité FTQ is announcing today it has taken a $4.2 million minority interest in the company founded in Quebec in 2000. This investment will enable Processia Solutions to strengthen its position on international markets, notably in the United States, in France and in Great Britain, where it already has a presence, and to support the company in its next phases of growth.

With a team of 200 employees and consultants, Processia Solutions has experienced an average annual growth of 30% during the past seven years through a growth strategy focused on consulting services and IT solution integration services related to product life cycle management for businesses in the aerospace, defense, automotive, energy, retailing and consumer packaged goods, life science and high-tech sectors.

“This investment is in keeping with the Fonds’ strategic plan as Processia contributes to innovation in manufacturing companies in Quebec and elsewhere. Processia is also an excellent example of a Quebec supplier that has exported the know-how it has developed through its work with Quebec prime contractors. The Fonds is proud to contribute to the next growth phase of this company,” declared Alain Denis, Senior Vice-President, Innovation, at the Fonds de solidarité FTQ.

It is also a significant step for Processia Solutions. “The investment made by the Fonds de solidarité FTQ is a significant step that will enable us to continue building our presence on international markets where, for several years now, we have experienced solid and sustained growth. We are truly stimulated by the confidence expressed by the Fonds in our business plan and we are excited and optimistic about the future,” stated Vincent Fraser, CEO of Processia Solutions.

Today’s announcement is in addition to Processia’s acquisition in France, last December, of NextIS Consulting, an independent consulting company with offices in Paris that has expertise in organization and processes, information systems and change management.

Processia Solutions’ customer base includes well-known corporations such as Faurecia, Renault F1, Bombardier Recreational Products, Pratt & Whitney Canada, New Balance, and Westinghouse.
