École d’entrepreneurship de Beauce :Fonds de solidarité FTQ Awards $12,500 Bursary to Peggy Duquet of Métal Duquet

St-Georges-de-Beauce, October 16, 2015 – On a visit to École d’entrepreneurship de Beauce, Louise Lalancette, Senior Investment Advisor at Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ for the Chaudière-Appalaches region, awarded a $12,500 bursary to Peggy Duquet, President and Chief Estimator at Métal Duquet in St-Côme-Linière.

“Since its creation more than 30 years ago, the Fonds de solidarité FTQ has contributed to our collective wealth by forging partnerships with entrepreneurs just like the ones in the current cohort of the École d’entrepreneurship de Beauce,” said Ms. Lalancette. “These entrepreneurs drive the local economy and ensure the future of Québec businesses. The Fonds de solidarité FTQ is pleased to recognize the vitality and determination of this cohort and in particular, Peggy Duquet of Métal Duquet, by awarding her a $12,500 bursary.”

The bursary awarded by the Fonds de solidarité FTQ is to honour Ms. Duquet’s leadership as Métal Duquet’s President and Chief Estimator. Involved for the past some 30 years in the custom manufacturing of stainless steel products for the food service industry, this family-run business has become an industry leader thanks to its unparalleled service and quality products.
