Fonds de solidarité FTQ Becomes DUCEPPE en tournée’s Lead Partner

Montréal, February 14, 2013 – The Fonds de solidarité FTQ (“Fonds”) is pleased to announce that it has become the lead partner of DUCEPPE en tournée for the next three years. The Fonds will begin by backing Michel Marc Bouchard’s Les Muses orphelines this spring.

“By investing in Quebecois culture, the Fonds de solidarité FTQ is backing thousands of artists who showcase our identity here and around the world,” said the Fonds’ President and CEO, Yvon Bolduc. “It is therefore only natural that the Fonds team up with DUCEPPE, a one-of-a-kind Québec institution whose plays have been moving Quebecers all across the province for decades and that will continue to do so for years to come.”

“The partnership with the Fonds de solidarité FTQ will help ensure that DUCEPPE can keep on delivering on its mission to make theatre accessible to everyone across Québec and to be an ambassador of Quebecois culture,” said in turn Louise Duceppe, President and CEO of DUCEPPE. “Our goal is to continue staging top-notch productions, which attract over 100,000 spectators each season.”
