Fonds de solidarité FTQ Orders Audit at SOLIM

Montréal, May 1, 2009 – The Fonds de solidarité FTQ (“Fonds”), the sole limited partner of Solim I and II, has ordered an internal audit in the matter of a loan granted for a revitalization project on Montréal’s South Shore. The Fonds’ comptroller, André McDonald, has been assigned to examine the $1.1 million loan file. “Mr. McDonald will determine whether the authorization given by Solim’s consulting committee is in conformity with the transaction documents. Mr. McDonald will have until Monday, May 11th to submit his report,” said Yvon Bolduc, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ.

The Fonds has agreed with Guy Gionet, the manager of the limited partnership, to entrust the management of Solim I, Solim II, FONDIM and all the other companies associated with the general partner, to Solim’s vice-president of finance, Monique Cardinal, who during this period will report to the Fonds’ vice-president of due diligence and administration, Michel Coulombe, C.A..
