Julie Pépin appointed Vice-President, Internal Audit at the Fonds de solidarité FTQ

Montréal, August 13, 2021 – Janie C. Béïque, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Julie Pépin as Vice-President, Internal audit. In this position, she will be reporting to the Audit Committee of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ.

 

In recent years, Ms. Pépin held key positions in major organizations, including KPMG, where she was Partner, Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance Services, and Desjardins Group, where she served as Vice-President, Monitoring, Supervision and Support Functions.

 

“I am very pleased to welcome Julie Pépin to the Fonds’ team as Vice-President, Internal Audit. Julie brings to the Fonds a highly specialized expertise in forensic accounting, governance and internal audit. Always on the lookout for the latest trends and having an acute business sense, she will undoubtedly be an asset for the Fonds, which continuously seeks to innovate and improve its practices,” said Ms. Béïque.

Julie Pépin, CPA, CFI, holds a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences from Université du Québec à Montréal and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). An expert is forensic accounting investigations, Ms. Pépin also holds the Certified Forensic Investigator designation from the Association of Certified Forensic Investigators of Canada. Involved in the community for over 20 years and having at heart the advancement of women in the business world, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Québec Women in Finance and the Association des auditeurs internes de Montréal.
