During the Grande soirée de la gouvernance 2016 organized by Les Affaires on March 29th, the Fonds de solidarité FTQ received a Special Mention from the jury for the modernization of its governance. Robert Parizeau, Fonds Chair, received the prize on behalf of the organization.
“I accept his honour on behalf of three groups of people at the Fonds who have been and continue working on the transformation of the Fonds’ governance: the FTQ, as well as the Fonds management and employees”, said Mr. Parizeau during the ceremony in Montreal. “The active participation of all these actors was essential for the transformation of the Fonds’ governance, a transformation which will allow the Fonds to better confront future challenges.”
