Like all financial institutions, the Fonds is obligated to verify the identity of savers who apply to open a non-RRSP account and to obtain certain information regarding their current situation and reasons for opening an account.
Savers can open a non-RRSP account over the phone by contacting Saving Services. An agent will guide them through the process.
