Sylvain Paré

Vice President - Financial Management and Strategy

Sylvain Paré joined the Solidarity Fund QFL in January 2006 as Vice President - Financial Management and Strategy. As such, he is responsible for evaluating, analyzing, influencing and modelling the Fund’s financial actions, strategies and growth and intervention objectives,
as well as developing and suggesting financial strategies, as required.

Prior to joining the Fund, Mr. Paré worked at Desjardins Group from 2002 to 2006, initially as Vice President - Finance and Treasury of Desjardins Financial Corporation Inc. and then as Executive Director -Finance and Capital Management, Desjardins Group at the Fédération
des Caisses Desjardins du Québec.

From 2001-2002, he was Vice President and CFO of Netgraphe Inc.,a subsidiary of Quebecor Media Inc.

Mr. Paré also worked at the Royal Bank, where from 1990 to 2001 he held various management positions in business financing as well as in corporate finance at the head office.

Sylvain Paré is a member of the Ordre des comptables généraux licenciés du Québec (C.G.A.) and holds a Master ès Science (M.Sc.) in finance from HEC Montréal.
