Normand Bélanger has been Senior Vice-President, Aerospace, Construction, Services and Transportation. Prior to his most recent appointment, Mr. Bélanger held the positions of Subscription Development Agent, Financial Analyst, Financial Advisor, Portfolio Manager, Investment Manager, Turnaround, and Investment Vice-President, Construction, Real Estate and Export Development.
Normand Bélanger joined the Solidarity Fund QFL in 1987. He began his career as a union activist in 1979 and assumed various functions at the Canadian Auto Workers union (CAW). He is the only financial professional at the Fund with a background in the QFL union structure.
With a degree in financial management from HEC Montréal, industrial relations from the University of Montréal and administration from Université du Québec à Montréal, Mr. Bélanger is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines et en relations industrielles agréés du Québec.
Mr. Bélanger has served on the boards of various public and private companies and is currently a director on the boards of some Fund partner companies.
