REDEMPTION CONDITIONS

Injection of Capital to maintain jobs in a business in operation for more than one year and in financial difficulty


In order for the Fund to redeem your shares under the "Injection of capital to maintain jobs in a business in operation for more than one year and in financial difficulty" criterion, you must fulfill the following requirements and provide the required proof.

Requirements
You must show that:
your company is incorporated;
AND
vyou are the owner of the business (alone or with others) and participate in the decision-making;
AND
your business is an ongoing concern;
AND
your business is in financial difficulty;
AND
the injection of capital will maintain at least one full-time permanent job.

Proof required
the Fund’s "Injection of Capital Into a Business in Operation for More Than One Year" form duly completed and signed;
AND
the declaration of registration or certificate of incorporation;
AND
the financial statements of the past two full years of operation and the interim statement for the current period;
AND
proof of maintenance of a full-time permanent job.
If the job maintained is your own:
  • an income tax return and notice of assessment.
If the job maintained is not your own, supply one of the following proofs:
  • monthly remittances to the Federal and Québec governments;
  • the employee’s pay slips;
  • the employment contract.

Eligible shares
All shares held for at least two years.

Payment terms and conditions
A single payment equal to the value of the eligible shares will be issued by cheque or by direct deposit.

If less than 20 shares remain in your account, they will be automatically redeemed.

This criterion can be invoked only once.

Subsequent acquisition of shares
You may purchase additional Fund shares two years after the last payment is issued under this criterion.
