About us

The Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ network was created in 1996 as a result of the FTQ’s desire to provide Québec with a regional development tool. An integral part of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ network, the Fonds régionaux are the ideal partners for projects of up to $2 million.

Thanks to our investments - $392 million to date – hundreds of small and mid-sized businesses have been able to grow and innovate and thus maintain or create sustainable quality jobs in all the regions of Québec.

With 16 offices across the province, we count on the knowledge, experience and dedication of over 60 employees, all of whom live in the region where they work, to further Québec’s development and drive our economy.

Each Fonds régional has a board of directors composed of members from the business and socio-economic communities and whose investment decisions are based on a sound understanding of regional realities.

Our mission

Stimulate the regional economy by making strategic investments with a view to creating, maintaining and preserving jobs.

Like our parent company, the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, we have a training program for employees of our partner companies to help them gain a better understanding of the economic environment in which their company operates.

Our values

  • Excellence through creativity and innovation;
  • Work together in a spirit of respect and transparency;
  • Apply a disciplined approach, aim for results, and enjoy our work;
  • Strive for flexibility, speed and simplicity in everything we do.

What we offer

The Fonds régionaux offer customized business loans of up to $2 million. Tailored to your needs and regional economic reality, our loans require no personal or corporate guarantee, entail no legal or management fees, and are designed to complement traditional financing.
